Sophisticated Wall: Greet your guests with Style

What does your wall say to your guests when they walk into your home? This home greets their guests with a splash of energy and sophistication. The min guests walk into the house, they know there welcomed.

One may ask what faux finish product was used for this wall. The answer is simple. Pure paint, and good old simple products that you can't find on the shelf of sophisticated faux finishers. I'm an artist, who pushes products to get results that aren't right out of the can... and that's the way I like it...

The Bedroom Process

I had to skim coat all the walls, and tape, and... you name it!
The joys of being a decorative painter. I had some left over brown suede paint from Sherwin Williams, so I treated the walls, after they were primed with a brown primer.
The final product! Yay, one room is done!

It's so hard to photograph Faux Finishes. Take your pick on what looks better, I wanted to show what it looked like with a flash and without.

Leather Faux

Here is a picture of 1/2 of a wall that I fauxed. I wanted to show how you can handle color and texture in an open floor plan. It is a wonderful leather look, which matchs the sofa which is in the sitting room, not show in the picture. I'm always disapointed in how faux finishes photograph. Hopefully you can make out the Faux, it's stunning in person!
